With close to 15% of Broward County dealing with food insecurity issues, my family and I took action by picking and donating fruit that might otherwise go to waste. The Community Enhancement Collaboration, Inc., one of the organizations the Hollywood Women’s Club supports, will benefit from what we collect! CEC distributes food to the hungry on Wednesday and Friday and this week there will be mangoes!
